Hayje, after his disastrous half season of F1, with the undriveable RAM March, in 1977. Was demoted to a season of European F2, with Fred Opert running four cars on a shoestring budget. Boy had very strong teammates in Keke Rosberg and Eje Elgh, and wasn ‘t able to score a single point… He discarded the Pau Grand Prix (where a certain Alain Prost made his F2 debut), to race at Zandvoort instead! By hindsight a good decision, as he had a hell of a race, finishing third. Of course he profited a bit from Lunger and Edwards tangle, and Martini running out of fuel, leaving poor Giancarlo shaken! Boy Hayje when he also raced F2: Boy Hayje entered for the Zandvoort 1979 European Formula 2 Championship round, in a March-Hart 782 hired from Brian Henton. It was one of his last ever single seater outings, though I recall he did some events in a FF2000 Delta (T80?), early eighties. Info from Ed Brunette.
