1973 Mirage Man… Mike Hailwood first drove the Mirage M1 of Malcolm Guthrie in the 1968 Springbok series, was then regular driver of the Mirage M2/M3 in 1969 and came back for the M6 in 1973 and the GR7 in 1974. Here at Watkins Glen in 1973 he finished 5th with his teammate John Watson. His greatest success with the sports cars from Slough was 1st and 2nd place at Spa in 1973.
