1975 USA F5000 Long Beach – Tony Brise won the first heat at Long Beach, on 28th.September 1975, but retired from the second heat with transmission failure. Subsequently, at Laguna Seca on October 12th., he finished 4th. on the aggregate of two heats, while on October 26th. at Riverside he finished 6th. having been 4th. in the first heat and having had to stop for fuel in the second heat while in 3rd. place.
