Bertil Roos (12 October 1943 – 31 March 2016) was a Swedish racing driver from Gothenburg.

Bertil Roos was born in Gothenburg, Sweden. He was a graduate of the Opert driving school, where he later became an instructor. He early promise after winning the 1973 US Super Vee title and doing well in both European Formula 2 and Canadian Formula Atlantic.
His big break came when Shadow invited him to drive one of their car in the 1974 Swedish GP. However it turned into an unhappy and all too brief alliance, the Swede going out early on with transmission failure and failing to impress his bosses. He was subsequently dropped in favour of Tom Pryce.
Roos went back to the USA and Canada, where he continued racing. He now has a successful racing school in the uSA opperating from Pocono International Raceway, Virginia International Raceway, Moroso Motorsports Park and Beaver Run Motorsports Complex.
Roos died at Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg Pennsylvania, on March 31, 2016
