Photo and info Larry Albarran This Porsche 917, one of the iconic cars from the glory days will be on public display for a couple of weeks in Tacoma, WA. I know all you folks in Florida and SoCal and Beaulieu are underwhelmed, but for anybody in the northwestern US or western Canada this is a rare opportuity. The 917 will be part or a large exhibit on Porsche history at LeMay-America’s Car Museum. Among the other historic race cars in the exhibit are a 908 and Pete Lovely’s “Pooper” (a 1954 Cooper streamliner with Porsche power).
