Pedro Jacobo Llano is a racing driver from Argentina. Very little is known about him.
The recorded races of Llano show that he probably never raced outside South America, even racing outside Argentina was a rare occasion. Records show he competeted in the Carrera Panamericana of 1954 in an Alfa Romeo 1900 TI, not reaching the finish. In 1955 and 1956 he was at the start of the Buenos Aires 1000 KMS. Driving a Gordini in 1955 and a Talbot Lago in 1956.
It was very surprising, to say the least, he appeared on the entry list for the Argentine Grand Prix of 1960 in the #10 Maserati of the Scuderia Centro Sud. The Maserati #10 was raced by Nasif Estéfano and finished 14th. For so far everything is clear. Apparently this #10 car was entered with 3 (!) reserve drivers, being Pedro Llano , Oscar Cabalén and Alberto Rodriguez LLareta. It is said Llano drove the car in the first practice session and Cabalén in the final qualifying session.
After this event I haven’t been able to find any further recorded races of Llano.
