Pete Lovely, Seattle, from last grid position moved up to second place in lap 2 took lead and gave it up again to Mike Fisher, Portland. A very exciting duel during the whole race– but Pete eased off a few inches at the finish (He ws out of contention anyway- no starter- he raced for sportsmanship and showmanship in great spirit and style!).
