A dramatic shot of Rodger Ward in the 1961 Hoosier Hundred. Rodger qualified seventh, and lead several laps before falling out with mechanical problems. AJ Foyt said that Rodger was the toughest guy he had to race, and Rodger would win the 500 the following May. Notice the coil overs on the front.
