Bernie Ecclestone and Stuart Lewis-Evans The photo (courtesy of Brenda Cooper) shows the start of a 500cc Formula 3 race at Brands Hatch in 1952. Stuart Lewis-Evans is in the centre with Brenda and their father, ‘Pop’ behind his car. To the left is his close friend Bernie Ecclestone and, to the right, George Wicken.
