David Hobbs with his Lola T70 at the International Trophy meeting at Silverstone in 1965. He drove a F1 BRM for Bernard White Racing in the 1967 British GP at Silverstone where he finished 8th, 3 laps down. but sports cars is where he had most success, When I took this photo in my teens, little did I know that 21 years later he would race cars that I had built the chassis for, the March BMW GTP’s in the 1986 IMSA series!
