David Purley apparently came out of retirement, for a one-off race, in the Andreason Racing 1.6 Chevron B61, at a Brands Hatch Thundersports round, 22nd. July 1984. He teamed up with owner Roger Andreason. The car was qualified 12th. in 1:32.100 (I guess by David…) but the car retired after a spin. Photo Chris Vince and info ed Brunette
