1976 – Frank Gardner /right/ when he also: Frank Gardner at Oran Park leading Colin Bond and Tony Edmundson on 1st August 1976.This was the cars debut.CAMS had deemed the car was illegal and was not eligible for points in the ASSC.An agreement was reached that Frank could start from the rear of grid.I had the privilege of being with Frank’s team that weekend.The radiator was moved forward after this meeting alng with some other modifications after which CAMS deemed it legal.It dominated the rest of the Rounds it ran that year finishing the season 2nd O’all before Frank won the ASSC the next year which was his final year of full time driving.This photo was in batch I purchased at Musle Car Masters about 15 years ago.
