1992 – When he also raced IndyCar, Gregor Foitek drove in 2 CART races in 1992 for AJ Foyt’s team. He drove at Surfers Paradise in Australia (Qual 13th Fin DNF lap 13 Puncture that put him into the fence) and in this photo he at Long Beach in California where he qualified 18th but retired on lap 32 with a broken exhaust. He also attended the Indy 500 that year with Foyt but the car was withdrawn (I am not sure if he actually turned any laps at the brickyard). Photo and info from FB
